Required documents for Residence permit
- Two recently taken photographs in color
- Valid passport
- Two copies of the laminated ID-page of the passport.
- Two completed application forms (in block letters), signed by the applicant.
- Original of marriage certificate, if married, and two copies of it
- Birth Certificate in original, and two copies of it
- Original of "personbevis" (birth certificate) from the applicant's referent person in Sweden issued no longer than three months ago.
The applicant must also pass an interview. The interview date will be booked on the day of submitting the application. supplementary documents may be needed as well as a second interview.
All applications are forwarded swedish Migration Board. The Embassy cannot affect the processing time.
The visa fees (9,900 Naira for above 18 years of age and 5,500 naira for under 18 incl. bank charges) are not refundable -
Applications are submitted Monday - Thursday between 10 am - 12 noon.
