Required documents for a Tourist Visa
- Completed application form (Click here)
- Extract from the Swedish population register from the inviting person (Personbevis).
- One recent passport sized photograph in colour.
- Current passport valid for at least 6 months after return from the Schengen States.
- Copy of laminated ID-page of the passport.
- Previous passports, if any
- Birth Certificate
- Marriage Certificate, if married
- Evidence of sufficient funding for the stay in Sweden (original Bank Statement, signed and verified by bank official, for immediate preceding twelve months period)
- Tax Certificate
- Travel insurance
- Print-out of Flight Itinerary
- Print out of confirmation called "Appointment details"
All documents submitted should have photocopies.
Please note: - The Embassy may require further documentation - Applications may be forwarded to the Swedish Migration Board - Applicants intending to visit Denmark may be asked to apply at the nearest Danish Embassy.
The visa fee (11,200 Naira per applicant incl. bank charges) is not refundable -
Applications are submitted Monday - Thursday between 10 am - 12 noon.
